Connected Commerce case study
Turning TikTok Shop Demand Into Amazon Rank and Compounding Organic Revenue
on the hero product moved from outside the top 30,000 into the top 7,500
BeautyThe opportunity
Turn channel activity into one connected growth system
on the hero product moved from outside the top 30,000 into the top 7,500
Bare Anatomy is the flagship haircare brand in the Innovist portfolio, built on in-house formulation and clinical testing:
- Shampoos, conditioners and masks
- Hair serums and growth treatments
- Rosemary and rice water sprays
In the United States the brand sold across two channels that were each performing and were almost entirely disconnected from one another. On TikTok Shop it was a genuine force. On Amazon it held a solid mid-market position with deep review equity. Neither channel was broken. What was missing was the mechanism that let one pay for the other.
The situation
The operating challenge behind the growth opportunity
- Core issue: the demand was already paid for, and it was arriving at a listing that was not ready to receive it.
Before Eva, Bare Anatomy had real strength on TikTok Shop:
- $3.5M to $4.3M of GMV in 28 days, against $15M to $18.3M all time
- 21,000 to 26,000 creators already posting for the brand
- 71,000 to 86,000 videos published, at a 4.8 seller rating
- One product line carrying the majority of catalog revenue
However, none of that demand was reaching the Amazon business:
- The hero TikTok product ranked between 30,000 and 36,000 on Amazon
- The Anti-Dandruff Shampoo held 13,700 to 16,800 reviews and still ranked between 33,000 and 41,000
- The Ultra Smoothing line ranked between 3,900 and 10,800, proving the account could rank when a listing was built correctly
- Eight to ten sellers appeared on the brand, so recovered traffic converted for somebody else
- Advertising ran on a flat daily budget, unaware of when creator volume spiked
Eva connected the TikTok Shop demand engine to the Amazon catalog as one system, so a video that creates search intent reaches a listing built to receive it.
Bare Anatomy on TikTok
The brand voice in motion
Three videos from the featured creator content already used in this case study show how product storytelling and social discovery create demand before shoppers reach a marketplace or brand storefront.
The Eva approach
One plan, clear priorities, and shared performance signals
Creator Cohorts, Not Creator Counts
- Segmented the existing creator base by GMV per video rather than follower count
- Concentrated seeding, samples and commission on the cohort that converted
- Built a content taxonomy from what had already sold: which hook, which demonstration, which claim
- Retired the long tail of posting that generated views and no orders
Focus: More GMV per video, not more videos
Index for the Search the Video Causes
- Rewrote titles, bullets and backend search terms around the phrases a viewer types after watching, not the phrases a copywriter would choose
- Matched imagery and A+ content to the video creative so the shopper recognized the product they had just seen
- Rebuilt the hero listing first, the largest single gap in the account
- Consolidated seller control so recovered traffic converted to the brand
Focus: Be findable for the demand already being created
The Halo, Operated Deliberately
Where the impression lift actually comes from:
- Treated a creator surge as an Amazon event, because branded and category search lift within hours of a video landing
- Timed advertising coverage to those surges instead of spreading a flat budget across the month
- Reported Amazon impressions against TikTok posting volume on one timeline, so the halo became a number somebody owned
Shift: From two channels to one spike, worked twice
Rank as the Compounding Asset
- The halo lifts impressions once. Sales velocity from those impressions lifts rank, and rank lifts organic impressions every day after
- Protected velocity on the hero products through availability and pricing discipline, because a stockout during a creator surge resets the gain
Focus: The halo starts it, rank keeps it
Unified Measurement Layer
- Eva Intelligence read both channels together, so a lift on one was attributed rather than assumed
- Contribution measured after channel fees and advertising, per product, across both storefronts
Focus: One number the brand can act on

The outcome
What the connected system changed
Bare Anatomy moved from running a large TikTok Shop business and a separate mid-market Amazon business, to running one demand engine where creator content is measured by what it does on both storefronts. The impression lift was the entry point. Rank is what made it permanent, because organic impressions earned through velocity keep arriving long after a video stops circulating.
Before and after
Before Eva
- Creator output measured by volume and views
- Amazon listings written for a copywriter’s phrasing, not a viewer’s search
- Advertising on a flat budget, blind to creator surges
- The hero TikTok product invisible on Amazon, and two reports with no shared number
After Eva
- Creator cohorts managed on GMV per video
- Listings indexed for the language the videos actually produce
- Advertising weighted to the hours demand arrives
- One contribution view across both channels, hero product compounding
The Catalog
Rosemary and Rice Water, 200 ml — $1.07M to $1.3M in 28 days, 95,000 to 116,000 units
Ultra Smoothing Trio, shampoo, mask and serum — $700K to $857K
Rosemary and Rice Water Spray, pack of 3 — $669K to $817K
Rosemary and Rice Water Spray, pack of 2 — $206K to $252K
The Creative
@aminas_ambience — a 42 second hair growth testimonial. 27.6M to 33.8M views, $314K to $384K GMV, the highest grossing post in the catalog
@yourglowsistert — “No, you don’t have frizzy hair. You’re just using the wrong products.” 2.6M to 3.2M views, $130K to $159K GMV
@yourglowsistert — the same hook two months earlier, and it worked twice. 2.4M to 3.0M views, $116K to $141K GMV
The moment a viewer leaves TikTok they are still your customer. Whether they stay one depends on a different system, run by a different team, measured on a different number. That is the whole problem, and it is the whole opportunity.

Strategic insight
Growth compounds when every channel has a clear job
Brands winning on TikTok Shop rarely lose on content. They lose at the moment the viewer leaves the app. A video creates intent that outlives the session, and that intent goes somewhere. Where the brand’s own listing is not indexed for the phrase the viewer types, the brand has paid a creator to sell for a competitor.
When TikTok (discovery) and Amazon (capture) are wired together:
- Demand becomes measurable
- Rank becomes an asset, not an accident
- Growth becomes repeatable
